First Person - Digital Storytelling

Digital Storytelling is a unique artistic medium which uses computers to combine a personally told story with photographs and other imagery in a very special 'mini-movie' using some easy-to-use computer technology.

Tuggeranong Arts Centre's new Digital Storytelling facility is now up and running with several workshops currently taking place. They include workshops with Prisoner's Aid, Multicultural Youth Services and PANDSI. If you'd like more details, click here.

If you would like to develop a Digital Storytelling project for your community group, contact Community Arts Officer Eulea Kiraly on (02) 6293 1443.

Andrew Satrapa - Henry

‘Every time I see anything that his hands have created,’ says Andrew, ‘I am reminded of my father.’ Everyone knows the iconic planter boxes on Anzac Parade. Here is the human story of the Hungarian émigré who created them.

Eulea Kiraly - Mamie and Maggie

‘All my life I’ve been told I looked like my grandmother, but I didn’t get it. I was a little girl and she was an old lady.’ But over the years, Eulea discovered just how much her grandmothers have influenced her life.
