FLORI-ART

A festival of floral displays at the Tuggeranong Arts Centre. There will be a series of workshops held at the Arts Centre during September leading up to Flori-Art, where participants have the opportunity to work with local artists creating flowers and plants all from recycled materials in order to establish a garden at the grounds of the Tuggeranong Arts Centre.

UKULELE FESTIVAL

Fun for the whole family featuring the little instrument that's connecting people and communities in a big way. The ukulele is inexpensive; easy to learn; it's portable; a great accompaniment instrument that allows players to sing along, making it ideal for large community groups. Enjoy this community festival that celebrates the human condition in a musical context! The second Ukulele Festival is preparation for the National gathering in 2013.

LATIN FUN TO WELCOME SPRING

A celebration of spring with a smorgasbord of Latin American dancing and singing in Tuggers! Part of the Tuggeranong Festival, this exhilarating street party will showcase sounds and rhythms from the people that know how to party. Come celebrate the musical culture of this amazing region of the world just outside the Hyperdome Shopping Mall in Anketell Street. Live bands, performances, dancing, and great food!
