TUGGERANONG ARTS CENTRE PRESENTS

The Moon Festival

The Tuggeranong Arts Centre Moon Festival has evolved through the years into a children and family event. Traditionally held in February, this year the Festival will be a celebration of the end of winter, packed with fun and activities for children and family. In 2010 the Festival will be linked to Latin America, so be prepared to celebrate everything Latin American with traditional games, pinatas, storytelling, free art workshops, circus activities, exotic food and fantastic live performances for children 0 to 100 years! The foreshores of Lake Tuggeranong will be transformed into a multicultural feast of arts, sounds and fascinating rhythms! Don’t miss out!

Leonids

TUGGERANONG ARTS CENTRE PRESENTS

The Leonid Film Awards

The Leonid Film Awards, named for the meteor showers that will light up the sky while the finalists light up the screen, will blaze their way on to the Canberra filmmaking scene in 2010.
This year, the Leonid Film Awards are going to be bigger and better! Adding to the secondary and tertiary categories, there will now be an open one, allowing anyone of 18+ years of age to enter. The Leonids will also herald the start of the Tuggeranong Festival, so make sure that you or someone you know enters a film. There are some great prizes on offer.
With the Leonid meteor shower filling the skies, and great films filling the screens, November 2010 will be full of stars at the Tuggeranong Arts Centre.
