This show was a perfect way to end our ten-year birthday celebrations. The students had a great time re-making this classic tale full of imaginative characters and scenes. We have an incredible and very talented community of young dancers who are a pleasure to work with and who do us proud every time they step on the stage.
This is where our Fresh Funk dancers really shine! They get to choreograph routines, which can push boundaries in dance, confidence and self-esteem. The result is an energetic, creative and fascinating show!
Twenty three dancers from Tuggeranong Arts Centre’s Fresh Funk program went on a two-week tour and major performance in Los Angeles in July. On their return, they put on a stunning show that included a collection of hot routines and video footage direct from LA!
Everyone enjoyed the journey through Funhouse, where we were terrified by the haunted house, challenged by the carnival games, entertained by the clowns, confronted by the house of mirrors, and thrilled by the rides!
We celebrated the Fresh Funk phenomenon with a fun night at the Tuggeranong Arts Centre theatre. The evening included dance, singing and a short film showcasing special moments from the last ten years.
