Young Independent Filmmakers Award 2008
Tuggeranong Arts Centre is proud to present the first annual Young Independent Filmmakers Award in November 2008. This competition is a chance for film-makers under the age of 25 years to showcase their works and win great prizes. The prizes recognised excellence in Film and Media Studies units, and the competition is intended to provide entrants with the opportunity to see their films screened in a public forum.
And the winners are…

Tuggeranong Community Arts Encouragement Award, valued at $250 -
Chris Delforce, (Canberra College) for his film Aftermath.
D’Indigo Blend Broadcast Media Services Award for Technical Achievement, valued at $500 -
Frazer Bull-Clark, (Narrabundah College) for his film Enough.
The University of Canberra Award for Excellence, valued at $1000 -
Mei-Lynn Wilkinson, (Narrabundah College) for her film Spud Lovin’.
