CAPITAL CHEMIST ART AWARD

Capital Chemist Canberra has been the sponsor of the Capital Chemist Art Award since 1999 when the competition began as part of the Year of the Older Person celebrations. Such was the success of the competition that Capital Chemist continued to support the competition – this will be the 13th year of the competition and the show gets stronger every year.

THE TUGGERANONG ROTARY YOUTH ART AWARD

This ever popular youth arts competition is on again with the opportunity to win BIG prizes and experiences! Open to local artists between the ages of 15 and 25, the TRYA is an example of a strong arts and community partnership, which gives voice to its young people. As a local award, it has continued to grow since its inception in 1994 and has been supported by local sponsors, critics, media and collectors.

Sponsors this year include Tuggeranong Rotary Club, the Academy of

Interactive Entertainment, Photoaccess and Aarwun Gallery.
