Exhibition Statement:

The Inspire art competition occurs every year at St Mary MacKillop College and has become an important part of the school’s culture. The exhibition at the Tuggeranong Arts Centre features a selection of works from the competition and provides an opportunity for students to experience what it is like to have their work displayed in an art gallery, attend an exhibition opening, and celebrate their creativity and talents with the MacKillop and Tuggeranong community.

This exhibition reflects the College’s motto of Faith & Courage in honour of St Mary MacKillop. It provides young people with the opportunity to have faith in their creative abilities as artists and the courage to communicate to a wide audience the themes, issues and ideas that are important to them.
