The Gallery

Since 1999, the Tuggeranong Arts Centre has been host to over 200 exhibitions from international, national and local artists and organisations.

The centre plays an important role in the work of emerging artists and is always interested in hearing from artists and organisations wishing to exhibit their work in a professionally supported venue. Because the gallery is located in a multifunctional arts centre, gallery exhibitions are viewed by a much wider and diverse audience.

The gallery is approximately 55 sq metres and air-conditioned. There is ambient light from the large cathedral window and skylight as well as halogen track lighting. The hanging system consists of fine high tensile steel wires capable of holding 30kgs and spring loaded hooks which allows for the efficient and safe installation of artworks. The gallery also has a limited number of plinths available on request.

The gallery is supported with professional and qualified staff who can offer advice and assistance if required. There is also a curatorial package available at reasonable cost for those interstate and international exhibitors wishing to bring work to the centre.
