STOPERA PRESENTS "ENCHANTING OPERETTA"
Experience the wonderful world of operetta with Stopera, the ACT's chamber opera company. There are lilting Viennese waltzes by Strauss and Lehar, Parisian can-cans and romances by Offenbach, and of course the British comic songs of Gilbert and Sullivan. Stopera artists perform a glittering concert program of operetta's greatest hits, with excerpts from the "Merry Widow", "Die Fledermaus", "The Pirates of Penzance" and so much more!

Comedy Club at the Tuggeranong Arts Centre returns for 2012. Last year saw a season of sold out shows, interstate acts and some of the most unique and exciting comedy in Canberra. Hosted by Jay Sullivan, who consistently brings together a bi-monthly extravaganza of solid comedians from all over Australia. The bar is open, the mic is in the stand, grab a ticket and enjoy a great night of laughs.

Ickle Pickle Productions brings a show to the Tuggeranong Theatre for the first time in the April school holidays. Sinbad the Sailor, written by Canberra playwrite Peter McDonald, is an hilarious pantomime-style show, suitable for children and adults of all ages. It follows the story of Sinbad, a poor porter, as he travels the world in search of adventure. With Ickle Pickle Production's trademark humour and innovative staging, Sinbad the Sailor is great fun for all the family.

WYRD SISTERS
By Terry Pratchett, Adapted for the stage by Stephen Briggs, Directed by Kerrie Roberts
Tuggeranong's Women's Theatre Forum has established its theme of plays about older women with "Gertrude's Hamlet" in 2011. It continues this theme in 2012, along with the Shakespeare link & the device of 3 lead characters, with a production of Terry Pratchett's "Wyrd Sisters", adapted by Stephen Briggs. In this play, MacBeth's witches become the centre around which the play revoves, with Pratchett's offbeat, hilarious take on all sorts of narrative cliches.

BUNYIP BUNYPII
Written and Directed by Domenic Mico
Imogen and her friend Robby the Robot find a most adorable Bunyip in the Tidbinbilla Nature Reserve and take him home to Kambah. They have to protect him from hunters who are seeking him about some unexplained happenings in the forest. A show for children 3 - 93, guaranteed to make you laugh, cry and wish that you believed in Bunyips.
