In 2019 International Tenants’ Day will fall on Monday 7th October.
Join in the celebrations by coming along to the 12th Annual International Tenants’ Day Canberra (ITDCBR) exhibition and art awards, showcasing Canberra renters’ experiences of community, belonging and home. This year’s theme, A Sense of Home, explores the fundamental concept of home and its connection to the senses.
International Tenants’ Day Canberra 2019 is supported by Tuggeranong Arts Centre and organised with the help of Tenants’ Union ACT, Street Law, ACT Shelter, Better Renting and Housing ACT.
The exhibition will be opened by ACT Minister for Housing and Suburban Development, Yvette Berry at 6pm on Thursday 3 October 2019. Free, all welcome.
The Award presentation will be held at 1pm on Saturday 19 October. The exhibition continues until Saturday 26 October.
