WHERE: Dance Studio 2, Tuggeranong Arts Centre

ENROLEMENTS: Enrolments for the ensembles are on a semester basis. Student enrolments are managed by the Canberra Youth Theatre. Enrolments for Semester one are open until Friday February 24 , 2023. Click here to to go to the enrolment page.

COST: $590 per semester. A split payment option is available.

ABOUT THE PROGRAM:

Canberra Youth Theatre’s weekly Ensembles workshops for young people in school years 7–9 are semester-long programs that run in line with school terms.

Young artists collaborate with professional theatre-makers to develop skills in acting, improvisation, devising, script analysis, character development and stagecraft.

Through a practical exploration of varied performance styles, young artists practise their craft, discover their creative voice, and become confident theatre makers.

Whether our young artists are considering pursuing a professional career in the arts, or simply want to expand their skills, make new friends, and have fun, Canberra Youth Theatre is a safe, inclusive space for all young people to be creative, share their voice, and explore their passion.
