Is it junk? Is it sculpture? Is it floral art?
Sure. It’s all of those things.
Join Narelle from bravebotanics to look back on Ikebana, move through Surrealism and arrive with a screaming halt at Freakebana.
It’s the perfect clash of our thirst for beauty, our ethos to reduce-reuse-recycle and our need to create. Now.
Focusing on the principles and elements of design we will use sustainable floristry techniques (locally sourced and reusable flowers and plant materials, found objects and no yucky foam) to make small designs.
Materials and tools provided. Participants take home 2 or 3 designs, as well as set of notes.
