Exhibition Statement:

The exhibition Swoon celebrates the importance of collective creative expression. The works examine the bold self-definition and collaborative conversations which occur at Hands On Studio each day. Swoon will reveal the unseen or unknown aspects of who we are as we share our stories through our artwork.


About Hands On Studio:     

Founded in 1996, Hands On Studio has provided a safe environment in a professional studio for artists with a disability. Hands On Studio has become a leader in the field of arts and disabilities in the Canberra region by developing authentic relationships with creative institutions and the broader community sector. This community group has developed a model for a creative society, guided by the principle that art is fundamental to human expression and that all people are entitled to its tools of communication.
