When:2 March - 29 April
Luke Cornish’s current practice is focussed on the war ravaged streets of Syria, and the individuals caught in the conflict. More specifically, Cornish aims to put a human face to the effects of war, and to portray the hope and positivity which he encountered there.
Works are a mixture of stencil, aerosol and sublimation on aluminium or canvas. Sublimation printing is a process of heating dye and transferring onto a medium such as paper or plastic.
ELK will be visiting the Tuggeranong Arts Centre on Friday 2 March for a conversation about his recent work, from 10:30AM in the Foyer Gallery.
This exhibition is presented alongside Another Day in Paradise.
