When:August - September
The Horse Float of Ideas is a community arts project developed by Tuggeranong Arts Centre in which local artists and community groups work together to develop work for installation in a re-purposed horse float.
The horse float will become a unique, relocatable, experimental art space and the centrepiece of public events in Tuggeranong and beyond. It will be making its debut at the Arts Centre’s lakeside event on Saturday 25 November.
Enthusiastic knitters and other creative people are invited to create work for installation with local artist Rachel Develin, who specialises in working with recycled materials.
TAC welcomes participation from all members of the community including those who identify as gender and sexuality diverse, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander or culturally and linguistically diverse.
