Artist and Workshop tutor
Kirklandd is a Serbian-Australian rapper, songwriter and instrumentalist who exists in the inbetween, evolving in his style but never adhering to any one genre. The Canberra artist has gradually found a distinctive lane in his music, grounded in hip-hop but drawing inspiration from alt-rock and punk.
Following a recent co-sign from T-Pain, Kirklandd has been working on his debut mixtape independently with his close-knit creative team. Alongside collaborators Taka Perry (Denzel Curry), Young Monks, Tasker (Rest For The Wicked) & Tanner (The Kid LAROI, Juice WRLD), Kirk is carefully crafting a sound that captures the essence of the 2000s punk and alt-rock he grew up listening to. Culminating with the release of his upcoming debut mixtape, ‘SUCCESS $TAINS: The Mixtape’, Kirklandd is about to reveal the sound he’s been crafting for the past 18 months.
