Something Floral with Gina Chapman: 6-week drawing class

Exploring the wonder of flowers! This course celebrates the science, function and beauty of flowers of all kinds. From week to week, various perennials, biennials and annuals will be examined in a variety of ways and the results expressed on paper, using a wide range of materials. The class will be facilitated by visual artist, Gina Chapman, who is also trained in Conservation, Land Management and Horticulture. Prior knowledge is not necessary – just a love of flowers!

About the artist

Gina Chapman joined the TAC team in 2022, assisting Messengers classes and working on events. She is a graduate of the ANU School of Art, winning the BCC Patron Award for her graduating work. She has gone on to study Conservation and Land Management and Horticulture.

Gina currently leads the Seniors and Carers classes as well as the ‘Root to Leaf’ workshop. She is passionate about environmental issues, conservation and the intersection with visual arts.
