BOOK FOR MAKE A MESS ART CLASS

Spend the first Saturday of the July school holidays at Tuggeranong Arts Centre and enjoy a day of free family fun. Focusing on participation and accessibility, families are welcome to stay for the day or drop in for an hour! Take a structured art, dance or drama class and get a taste of some of TAC’s popular weekly classes for primary school aged kids or be part of a street orchestra with Drummers not Plumbers. Join a weaving circle, produce a zine, or help create a giant cardboard city. Stitch flowers to add to our collaborative textile work or make fishstix to take home. Or simply take in the stunning lake view and make some observations on paper. Giggly Wiggly balloons will be there too. And of course the kids will be able to get their face painted!

While the program is designed for primary school age kids, there really is something for everyone. Parents are welcome to join in, or relax by the lake with a coffee and a bite to eat, and watch a series of performances from south side community groups, including TAC’s own Fresh Funk dancers and our new community choir Sing with Toby. And you won’t want to miss our lunchtime feature concerts by Mr Tim and the Fuzzy Elbows at 12pm and 12:45pm.
