About the Trans Voices Creative Development Project
Building off the success of last year’s Trans Voices Cabaret (premiered at TuggersPride), the project has taken on the new direction of creating a unified, original and community driven creative work.
The Trans Voices project recognises that voices and bodies are intimately tied to the experience of gender and expression. This work-in-process showcases emerging local queer talent and offers trans performers the opportunity of empowerment and reclamation of their experiences and their voice.
