As programming partners of Enlighten, Tuggeranong Arts Centre is delighted to invite you to enjoy reduced ticket prices for Canberra in Colour Enlighten events happening on Monday 14 March. For only $30pp, join award winning artist Lily Platts and local musician Rourke Puksand for an art class and live music in Commonwealth Park.

CANBERRA IN COLOUR: TEA-TOTAL

Award winning visual artist Lily Platts will be your art tutor

In each session, participants learn visual art skills to create an artwork responding to the Canberra community. Taking inspiration from a work created by Lily during the class, participants will be guided through the process of painting the iconic Braddon rainbow round-about, receiving step-by-step demonstrations along the way. The program pace and structure will ensure you create a work you love, even if you are a complete beginner. And of course, you’ll be able to add your own unique touches as well. Local musician, Rourke Puksand, will perform while you work, providing inspiration and space to create in between each stage of your artwork. A delicious grazing platter, prepared by popular Canberra caterer The Lazy Grazer, will indulge you, as well as a selection of tea and sweet treats.

TICKETS: $30pp

  • An art class with a professional artist
  • live music by a local musician
  • A food platter from The Lazy Grazer
  • A family friendly afternoon tea
  • Art Supplies for your class
