A single stitch is repeated to mirror patterns of nature and mapping of the mind.
Margot Date studied a Diploma of Visual Arts at CIT Reid in 2017.
She was awarded the Tuggeranong Arts Centre prize of a solo exhibition on graduation.
Margot has been working with fabric and wool for many years.
The centrepiece of the exhibition is Unchained a chain stitch crochet piece combined with painting.
She describes the work as being like a diary, with extra stitches added every day of the year.
Margot wishes to acknowledge the generosity of Bill Fletcher from Bellevue Park Wool for his beautiful product.
