When:Monday 20 July - until 7 September
This new choir in Woden for over 55’s will be run by Dianna Nixon.
Known for her work as a director, performer, vocal coach and arts activist, Dianna will work with participants to create and perform original songs about the effects of global climate change.
When: Choir practice will take place on Monday mornings, from 10am – noon.
Beginning on Monday 20 July, practices will continue until 7 September.
Where: Your place! The choir will practice online using Zoom.
We can offer help to Woden residents who need assistance to set up a computer to use zoom, and basic instruction.
There will also be an opportunity for participants to attend an online sustainability workshop run by the ACT Environment Centre. The date is still to be confirmed.
If it is considered safe in future, face-to-face rehearsals may begin in future at the Chifley Community Room.
Cost: FREE – and no prior experience is necessary
