Our First Nations program offers a host of cultural arts based activities with and for the community. We collaborate closely with the Ngunnawal people on whose traditional land we work, as well as, with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people from around Australia.
As part of our First Nations program, in 2016 a team of local and interstate filmmakers and researchers began work on a documentary film about the life and legacy of one of our resident living treasures: Ngunnawal Elder Aunty Agnes Shea. Footprints on Our Land tells the story of Aunty Agnes’ life, as recalled by her family and friends.
