Details:
Escape artists is a non-clinical visual arts pilot program designed for teenagers (12 – 16) who are experiencing social anxiety. The aim of the program is to support young people to develop confidence and social skills in a small group of five participants as a step up to one of Messengers larger group programs.
Participants who experience social isolation, anxiety or other issues, that make it difficult for them to participate in group settings, are invited to participate for two terms. After this time, participants are supported to graduate into a larger group program.
Messengers programs are designed to improve social and psychological wellbeing via targeted participation in the arts.
