About the series

TAC commissioned several artists to produce online content during the 2021 COVID lockdown. Originally engaged to deliver face-to-face work, the move to online content creation allowed the artists to continue producing work started prior to lockdown and provided new ways to engage with creative content. With the working title Taktok, this new series commenced with Season 2 of Chats with Mum, Chris Ryan’s acclaimed animation Series.

TakTok Part 2 – Food is Everywhere

Part two of Taktok offers you the opportunity to learn how to identify common edible weeds in your backyard. The series includes 5 short films by Sydney-based edible weeds advocate and wild food expert, Diego Bonetto. The episodes will be released each week via TAC’s social media channels. Diego is a forager, artist, storyteller and an expert on identifying the nutritious plants that grow under our feet that most people call ‘weeds.’ Building on the knowledge acquired while growing up on a farm in Italy, Diego introduces people to the ever-present food and medicine plants that surround us.
