Join us from home, for a 2-hour multifaceted creative experience delivered to your door and via zoom.
Unwine-d brings together things that warm the soul – music, art, storytelling, food and wine – creating an opportunity for you to make, share and indulge.
In each session of Unwine-d, participants will learn visual art skills to create an artwork, responding to the Canberra community. Taking inspiration from a work created by the feature artist during the class, participants will receive step-by-step demonstrations and guidance throughout the creative process. The program pace and structure will ensure you create a work you love, even if you are a complete beginner. And if you’re a regular at TAC’s Unwine-d, events, you’ll be able to develop your own home gallery of ‘local’ hidden gems & quirky characters from the ACT.
Local musicians will perform while you work, bringing the atmosphere of the Tuggeranong Arts Centre to your living room and providing inspiration and space to create in between each stage of the creative process. A delicious hamper for two, prepared and delivered by popular Canberra caterer The Lazy Grazer, will feed you for the afternoon. Your home-delivered Unwine-d package includes a ‘goody-bag’ from Tuggeranong Arts Centre with all of your art supplies.
We’ve also introduced an afternoon tea version of the event. Click here to book for Tea-Total.

HOW THE EVENING WORKS:
Begin the evening by pouring a glass of wine and grazing from your food platter. Set up your art materials and workspace to live music, keeping in mind the placement of your device so it’s positioned in good view from where you’ll be working.
Your art class will kick off after a few songs from the guest musician. During the art class, the session artist will break down the creative process into easy to follow steps, explaining everything and checking in with participants along the way.
There’ll be time for questions, time for watching live demonstrations and time to paint and listen to music. There’ll also be time to stretch your legs during intermission, while more live music continues. TAC staff will be on hand to assist with any technical questions.
