Cost:

$80 per person – if booking all 5 workshops.

Materials (watercolour pencils, an A5 pad and brush) will be provided.

Urban Sketches is a world wide network of artists whose group mission is to “Show the World, One Drawing at a time.”

Leonie will facilitate this series of sketching classes, introducing participants to a range of open air sketching techniques.

Participants will connect and responded to Woden’s leafy suburbs during two hour Saturday morning workshops, from 9.30-11.30am, over 5 weekends in Autumn.

The classes provide an opportunity to discover the pleasure of sketching outdoors, with guidance and tuition from artist and keen urban sketcher Leonie Andrews.

Participants will need to bring:

  • a stable folding chair or stool
  • Suitable clothing for outdoor sketching. Depending on the weather- either a hat and sun block and or warm wind proof jacket, thick socks and enclosed shoes!
  • water bottle
  • drinks/snacks for morning tea
